    Yes, having a written budget, er Spending Plan, is vital. Yes, credit card consolidation loans can get very scary.

      I disagree Riley. Unless you change the financial behaviors that caused you to pile up debt, a consolidation loan is only a temporary fix. Most Americans get a consolidation loan to get lower payments, only to pile up more debt. They end up worse off than before they got the consolidation loan!
