Living In Financial Excellence Episode 28: The top 10 lame excuses we make for the poor financial results in our lives continues as we count down excuses 5 through 1. Oct 6, 2010.

Today we finish our top 10 countdown discussing the lamest excuses we make for poor financial results in our lives. Too often we wake up at the end of our lives and wonder why we weren’t able to save enough for retirement or why we didn’t plan better for the future. We broke the top 10 into two segments: five last week and five today.

Show notes:

– If you missed the live webinar to support the Kayleigh Ali Vascular Anomaly Foundation, there’s still time to donate. We are about $400 short of our goal for the year and we want to hit the target before the Briggs & Al’s Run & Walk this Friday, October 9th. You can donate today at www.firstgiving.com/kayleighscrew. Special thanks to those who have helped so far!

– Money Smart Week is in full swing this week. All during the week free classes will be offered by financial professionals in the community to help you get smarter about your money. There will be no pressure to buy anything in any of the classes. They are free, full of good information, and have no strings attached. Find a class near you at www.moneysmartwi.org or classes in Sheboygan County at www.moneysmartsheboygan.info.

– The number one excuse we give for poor financial results in our lives is… well, you’ll have to listen to the show to find out, but it’s really lame and not much of an excuse at all when you think about it.

– What excuses have you made in your life for poor financial results? Leave a comment and let us know which ones you’ve heard or used yourself!
