Janelle Wegner is the most valuable player on the Financial Excellence team, working behind the scenes to make everything operate smoothly.
As a stay at home mom for the last twelve years, Janelle has served as the support mechanism for Matt’s careers in the Army, in manufacturing, and in coaching. Now she has joined the team and taken on the role of office manager. Janelle assists with scheduling, blogging, and administrative tasks to help keep things running as smoothly as possible. Janelle posts our weekly fun facts, money saving tips, and motivational quotes to the website and our social media profiles. She even jumps into the coaching seat every now and then to answer relationship- and spouse- specific questions.
She is also the driving force behind the success of the Living In Financial Excellence podcast. We discovered a long time ago that people want more than just Matt’s advice on financial issues. They want to hear how to apply the advice from the spouse’s perspective, and from someone else who has been there. Janelle is more than happy to fill the void, and she’s pretty darn good at it!
Aside from being a stay at home mom and serving as master scheduler and multi-tasker for the household, Janelle formerly worked in the banking industry as a bank teller. Janelle provides insight to the industry’s marketing tricks and customer relations. She’s seen a lot of people in various financial situations throughout her time as a teller and she shares Matt’s passion for helping people improve their situations to live debt free.
In her free time Janelle enjoys scrap booking and spending time with the kids as they grow up all too quickly. She serves on the Stewardship Committee and Board of Christian Education at her local church and has volunteered in various capacities at her children’s schools and extracurricular activities. Janelle also enjoys traveling, Christian music, and curling up on the couch with a good book.
