Rule of 72 Calculator

Ahh, the old Rule of 72. This tells you how many years, at a given interest rate, it will take to double your money. 72 divided by the interest rate gives you the number of years it will take to double your money. But it’s much more fun to use this fancy calculator.

    Hello from Australia Matt. I picked up on your podcast when I was looking for Dave Ramsey stuff. I must say it is quite refreshing to come across your site. It seems friendly and has a bit of a personality. Being in Australia it seems it is a little harder to find cost effective financial advise especially when you are trying get out of debt. I love your calculators and I’m about to have a look at Cash Flow and Spending Percentages Charts. Financial systems are a little different here (eg interest on the owner/occupier family home is not tax deductible but is for investment properties) but as long as I keep that in mind things should go well. Thanks.
